First time having soul food-and in the beautiful downtown DETROIT! Our server was Candice and she was kind and had a welcoming smile! Can't wait to go back!Food: 4/5

Meatloaf is loaded with flavor. Chicken is cooked to perfection. All the sides are mouth watering. They do not disappoint.Food: 5/5

Worse experience today ever. Got seated fairly quickly. Waited for 20 minutes, no server. Finally some teenager came, took drink and food order from us. After 10 minutes, brought my son's Kool aid, said she was coming back with our waters, never showed. After 20 more minutes, we walked out. Totally unacceptable. I give credit where due. Food is excellent, however the service today for us was very poor. Upon expressing our displeasure when leaving, NO ONE tried to stop us or at least talk to us about our issue. They need to send their staff to professional training for restaurant servers instead of throwing a bunch of teenagers who are inexperienced.

Employees was very disrespectful, called us broke Bacause they got our order wrong. They said 20 mins sat there for a HOUR to get the wrong food. Asked for a refund they got disrespectful. Would not recommend this place !Service: 1/5

My food was not good.Mac and cheese was full of pepper, pork chop taste like fish grease, cornbread was hard , greens was okay and cheese cake was very small with watery strawberryFood: 2/5
