Bidra med feedbackBeing a vegetarian in dhaka can be hard. I was on fruit for 3 days before I found out this place.(should have looked better on the internet). I visited them on a rainy evening and the place was jam full of young adults. I found the counter to order and found a table to sit. the food was full of taste. I ordered jackfruit curry and minze limonade. I would have preferred the limonade to be a little chilled. eating was very good. overall an excellent experience
The caffe is two floors at the top of a load that were sold environmentally friendly, locally produced (they have the following signs around the load to get it). eating is local (many green chilis) and the personal understand how to veganize dishes. they seem to get some vegan customers and they speak English well. they have two desserts that are labeled vegan. the place is beautiful and they have a sweet cat. preisy for average local food, but the concept and the setting are beautiful and it is comforting to know that eating is vegan (it is also one of the few cases that I actually eat local food because they add chicken powder to everything in the rule). they take credit card and personal are really friendly. seems kind laptop (saw people working, but don't see any electric plugs).
I like spicy food, but our food was so spicy we couldn't finish it. I got super sick after eating here, as well. Not a very good experience.
I haven't found anything better. Mushroom wrap appears to be vegan, not sure about chutney. Brown rice platter was fine. The mustard eggplant was good. Rotti platter was fine. No plastic straws with drinks is always nice. Not sure about sweets.
Beautifully decorated place with a rooftop. I couldn’t communicate with staff as they spoke little English and I can’t speak Bengali. The restaurant is vegetarian. Not sure what was vegan and what wasn’t (menu in English but hard to confirm no yogurt for example) as I couldn’t ask staff, so went for the safe option of mushroom wrap. It was very tasty. Drinks aren’t good, I had a lemonade once and a coconut blend.
