Masa Sushi Sake Bar Japanese Restaurant

I often go here and typically have a positive experience. Unfortunately, this was not the last visit when we stopped for lunch. The waitress was not attentive and still claimed to be wounded, but the dining room had some tables filled and she stayed in an area where we could see clearly that she was talking to another employee. Close tables also seemed annoyed how long the service was. We had to stop another waiter twice to ask for things that our waitress had not brought.

If this was just a rating of the food, it?d be a 4. But the service sadly is a 2. Got seated. Waited about 10 mins to get my drink order. Food came out. Didn?t get silverware or napkins. Didn?t get my whole order had to ask. Took about an hour total.

They are always so friendly and fast. I love stopping here for lunch. Definitely one of my favorite places!!

Server was nice but a super filthy little establishment. Took a good 30 minutes to receive the tiny spring rolls costing a hefty 1.75 each. They won?t tell you what they?re up charging before you get the bill either. Paid nearly 40 dollars for ramen and spring rolls. Chicken was of canned noodle soup quality and paid 2 dollars extra for it! It didn?t help that the mushrooms taste like straight pesticides too. The friendswood location is far better in their service and food. Please avoid the bay colony masa sushi at all costs. You will surely find the staff hiding and sitting in the back coughing and sneezing omicron particles on your food if you need help.

The bar service was ok on a slow lunch day, but she was friendly enough. Wasn 't a huge fan of the Spicy Edamame it wasn 't that spicy and it 's sauteed in oil unexpexted. The Deezy roll with Ponzu sauce was delicious as were the pieces of Hamachi (yellowtail) and Maguro (tuna). Also tried the Astro roll (crawfish), which was good if you like tempura rolls. It was pretty pricy so expect that.
