Depot At Cody Creek - Dobson

Despite having a website that lists their hours, we’ve made several trips to this restaurant only to find it unexpectedly closed. Their voicemail provides no helpful information, leaving us to arrive and discover a dump truck blocking the entrance. It’s frustrating not to know their schedule ahead of time. For a better experience, I recommend visiting 13 Bones in Mount Airy instead. Save yourself the hassle!

My whole family loves taking a trip to Cody Creek for its amazing food and delightful ambiance. On sunny summer days, we enjoy capturing memories at the gazebo, the water wheel, the covered bridge, and the charming old church. We also appreciate the Country Store, where you can enjoy FREE ice cream after your meal. You really can't beat free, and in the summer, there's something lovely about savoring ice cream while rocking on their front porch.
