You can find a pretty good smoked meat sandwich here, although I think the quality has declined in the last 6 months.

The same family or team who brought us Abie's, a beloved restaurant in D.D.O for years, has opened a new location with a larger menu and a fresh name.

Where do I start! I was so excited to see another great new concept in restaurants opened up in the West Island. The wide variety of deliciousness on the menu is super appealing to all - families and couples looking for a night out. We were 4 - 2 teenagers and 2 adults and tried a variety of items to get a feel for the overall menu. We started with an entree called Les 3 amis - chorizo sausage, wild boar and Italian sausage. Then we hit Le Blossoming Onion which was served with an amazing side sauce for dipping. It was heaven on a plate. My favourite was the Tower of Onions - OMG OMG OMG. Be sure you dip your heart away in the sour cream and chive sauce.For our main course we ordered their fall-off-the-bone-bbq ribs and substituted the regular fries for their signature Bourbon Fries - another good move. My kids had the dry-cured old-fashioned smoked meat (which of course I picked at :-) which was also great). My husband ordered the OMG burger which he finished with sticky fingers and lots of napkins later! The service was outstanding and I also met one of the managers who could not have been more friendly if he had tried. It's a real down to earth fun place (loved the music too!) that I would highly recommend to everyone in the area and outside of the West Island as well. It's new, its funky and it's ''home''. Thanks for a wonderful experience - we will definitely become regulars and can't wait to go back - this time for some pulled pork and delectable original looking poutines! BTW, dessert - have the giant carrot cake - live it up!

Place was empty but clean. I ordered the fried chicken with Cesar salad and regular French fries . The fries were great. Perfectly fried and perfectly salted. The salad was more like a soup. There was so much bottled dressing at the bottom of the bowl. Friend chicken was tasteless and it came out in under 5 mins.

I had the beef rib..... terrific. My friend had the smoked meat sandwich. I tasted a piece of it. The smoked meat was as good as Schwartz' if not better. They smoke the meat on site. My other friend had the pork ribs. She loved them. Very comfortable place.
