Disaster of a tasting. Booked the limited edition tasting for 2 people for my husbands 70th birthday and our wedding Anniversary (95 euros each) we love wine and have done tastings all round the world. Had it booked for months with numerous emails to arrange and I even visited a couple of days prior to check all was OK. So disappointed by this spot. We had emailed in advance to schedule a wine tasting. Had it confirmed and everything over email. My bf and I hustled over there and when we walked in, we were told without really any real explanation as to why, that the wine tasting wasn’t happening. He said we could have a glass and that’s it. Tried to reason with the owner that we had a reservation via email and thought maybe we weren't explaining it well enough but he remained firm that no tasting was happening. … – show

Bodega Amposta is a hidden gem in Barcelona. We discovered it by chance when looking for a restaurant close to Sans train station. It is 20 minutes walk from the station; so if you are travelling by train or transferring from train to plane, allow yourselves time to enjoy the amazing delightful and tasty Catalan experience Bodega Amposta offers.
