Poppadom Indian Takeaway - Doncaster

The order arrived with containers covered in grease, but thankfully nothing was leaking. It seemed like the containers had been sitting in a pool of grease before being placed in the bag, which was odd. The butterfly king prawn starter had a plain, thick, and soggy batter, not a great start. The chicken masala was watery with very little chicken, not the flavorful curry we had hoped for. The tandoori mixed grill was decent, but once again the curry sauce was watery. The meat in the mixed grill was good at least. The naan bread was fine. This was our first and unfortunately last time ordering from Poppadom as the curry just wasn't to our liking. On the positive side, the delivery time was reasonable.

I have to say, I visited this restaurant on Saturday! The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious- probably the tastiest I've ever had! I highly recommend it!

This was easily the worst Indian food I have ever had. My meal only included chicken and a can of tomatoes. The naan breads were not freshly made on the premises. I couldn't detect any of the herbs or spices typically found in Indian cuisine. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

We love poppadoms it is out of our way but it is well worth the wait and all the men who bring it r so great

Was an excellent meal very pleasantly surprised. Very tasty and delicious. Will definitely go back for more!
