Aki Japanese Buffet - Doral

The waitresses at this restaurant are truly fantastic and friendly. However, it is disappointing to say that the food quality has noticeably declined to below average. I enjoy coming here for lunch because it is quick and convenient to my workplace. Unfortunately, the staff do not refill empty food trays and instead seem to be more focused on playing on their phones rather than attending to customers' needs. The food quality is nowhere near what it used to be.

The food was okay. The staff was friendly. I just wish the crawfish broth had more flavor.

10/26/23 a good restaurant with good service. The variety appears less than I would see elsewhere. The offerings did not wow me. The selection were hit and miss. Otherwise, the place is decent but, could use a refresh.Parking: Plenty of parking.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food at this restaurant. It is below average, although the restaurant itself is very clean and the buffet presentation is good. However, the food quality and ingredients are lacking. The sushi is bland, lacking protein and is probably the worst I have ever tried. The lunch buffet is cheap, but the low price does not justify the poor quality of ingredients. The hot stations have questionable food that looks stale and unappetizing. The service is average and the atmosphere is unappealing. I used to come here regularly for a quick bite because it is close to my workplace, but the declining food quality has now deterred me from returning. It is understandable to cut costs in today's economy, but sacrificing quality on an already poor menu has been disastrous for this restaurant. I will not be returning.

First time coming with 3 friends for a lunch special all hot food was cold, the sticky rice in the sushi was a little stale, everything with salmon had a very fishy taste as if not fresh, we even gave the desserts a try! Guess what? stale. All of the staff was sitting behind the work stations on their phones just a really sub par experience. Spoke to the manager let her know about our experience. Her excuse is that the price is sooo special that in other words not to have high expectations. Incredible. First and last time
