Bidra med feedbackThe bulgogi fries are amazing! Big portions with a ton of flavor. They could easily be a lunch for 2, but that would mean not getting some of the perfectly fried chicken. Hello Chicken just became one of my regular stops on Buford Highway.
I will say the reviews about the smell I feel 99% sure that smell was the food I got the radish daikon banchan takeout and my house had the same smell opening it. It is very strong not sure if they produce it there, and it may be a reason for you not to dine in and instead get takeout and not order the radish if you don’t like the fermented radish smell, but I wouldn’t say bathroom smell is accurate and it doesn’t give me any reason to believe it is unsanitary. Perhaps they could ventilate the storage for it better so the dining area isn’t quite as strong. Food was good; heavy, street style but I liked the fried chicken. My favorite accompaniment was the spicy rice cakes.
Amazing Korean fried chicken. I love the sweet and spicy with an extra side of soy garlic potatoes
Quick lunch stop. Had Korean Chicken tacos and cucumber salad. Quite good. Flavors a little muddy, but I would eat here again. There are plenty of other things to try as well. Large but focused menu. Not the place to go for service or atmosphere but comfortable. Boo hoo they don't have fresh brewed tea. Only bottled drinks sodas and beer.
Prefacing this review with the fact that I am not a confrontational person— I dined in and wanted the 10 pc $8.99 special (shown in picture) with a side of white rice, $2. The service lady said a better deal is to have a $11.99 wings lunch special. I did the math, paid, and didn’t say anything but felt kinda scammed (taking off one star for this). Also the service was very slow (took off one star for this). Wings were super tiny (take off one star), but the food tasted very good. For the record, still tipped 15%, and they were nice! Just wanted to share.
