»Update vom 23.11.2019« A second visit did not give me a star price change. This time I had ordered Thai Peanut Meatballs. The part was really plentiful, but neither the amount nor the kindness of the staff are enough to make me taste the much too salty pommes. The beef balls in a thick peanut sauce were well seasoned, but overall everything was too powerful and dry for my taste. But I needed more time to look at the living moss wall I really like. The shield 'Don't touch' I also discovered, but it was too late. »Review of 1.7.2019« After the withdrawal of a clothing company and extensive reconstructions, a branch of the branch in the corner shop of the Thiergalerie was opened in May. The Canadian model company is already represented in other cities, e.g. Essen or Cologne, and is accepted by the audience, a little ironic you can call it "Edel-Pommesbude". The reconstructions were necessary so that in addition to the access from the gallery could also be one from the street. It is independent of the opening hours of the gallery and has created an outdoor area with about 70 seats. The interior is somewhat smaller, but the furniture is simply cozy. Much green is present, especially highlighting the living moss wall characteristic of the company. In addition to the simple curry sausages/pommes offers, the offer also includes more unusual forms of street food, namely Canadian and international poutins, also vegetarian. Sauces, dips, dressings are in great choice to have, according to the illustrations, drown in some dishes, but in the sauces. [here link] At the beginning the snack was completely overrun, I didn't want to stand in line, but at the fourth attempt the area was empty in front of the checkout and I started my visit. At first I did not want to go to experiment, but on number safe and ordered a curry sausage (without skin) with homemade pommes and sauce. You pay at checkout and get a voucher with a password, with me it was "Frau Holle". Once the order is processed, the password is called and you can pick up your tablet. Environmental awareness approaches are shown. Although everything is served in disposable dishes, it is made of unbleached cardboard, and the cutlery also seems to be made of wood. The staff is young and seems fast and friendly from the bank. As for the snack itself, the pommes were really good from the consistency, outside crispy, inside soft, and the sausage pleasantly firm and spicy. Overall, I would have handled half the salt well. Of course I will start another attempt with a poutin. First there are 3 stars (okay).
