Tokyo Express Japanese Steakhouse Seafood Restau

My favorite restaurant in town! The food is amazing and reasonably priced. We always order sushi, along with either Teriyaki chicken or steak. For special occasions, we treat ourselves to Teriyaki steak and shrimp. So delicious!

I ordered Teriyaki chicken, shrimps with the vegetable noodles. I was washing in and waiting wasn't long. When my food came to my table, it was hot and delicious. The portion was more than enough to satisfy you.

I had a really disappointing experience with my order! The eel roll looked nothing like it should—it's neither big nor firm. I ordered lion on rice, and it was piled with toppings! I didn't ask for seeds, but they were everywhere! When I inquired about the freshness of the fish, it turned out it wasn't fresh at all. The squid was chewy, but not in a good way. There was no salad or anything refreshing to complement the meal. I called the restaurant, and they told me to bring the food back for a refund. However, when I got there, they refused to give me my money back. Honestly, this is not good food or a good business. I'm sure the people of Douglas, Georgia can find much better sushi elsewhere! I plan to share pictures on Facebook; it was a $67 meal that was a total waste. The only thing that would even touch this is Ferrell Cats. What a shame!

This has been my go-to place since it opened. We affectionately call her Ms. Tokyo (I know it's not her real name, but she gave us the okay). She is always lovely and goes above and beyond for her customers. In all the 16 years I've been coming here, I've only had one issue with my order, which is rare to find in restaurants. No other place I frequent can compare to Danny's. The food is consistently hot and fresh, and I've never received a take-out order without the essential white sauce, utensils, napkins, and chopsticks. You definitely won't be disappointed!

The food is delicious. Service could be better but still fully satisfied with my visit there. Will definitely go back.
