Fantastic location, the most affordable beer in town, excellent sports viewing, and incredibly friendly staff!

This is a cozy spot to relax after shopping. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about beer. The atmosphere has a comfortable, old farmer vibe reminiscent of the Highlands. I love it!

However, on our second visit, the experience was quite different. A girl (I didn’t catch her name) was behind the bar, and instead of engaging with us, she spent her time at the far end chatting with her friends or disappearing downstairs while the rest of the staff did all the work. When we asked another young lady about Paddy, we learned it was his night off. The contrast between Paddy and this girl was striking. As midnight approached, the music was turned off and the TVs were switched off as well, creating a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere that felt nothing like an Irish pub should. We felt pressured to finish our drinks and leave. I would definitely return, but only if Paddy is behind the bar.
