Jean-pierres Bistro - Douglas

Visited for lunch. Good atmosphere and French style decor. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The French onion soup was excellent with the selection of various flavored breads. Would definitely return.

Had the loveliest night at this bistro during TT week. The staff are amazing. They are attentive and friendly and provide a service that is second to none. The food was utterly gorgeous and the whole night was just perfect.

Couldn't really fault it. A little on the expensive side but well worth every penny. Both the food and the level of service was excellent. Not the kind of place with huge portions but I thought they were a good size. Everyone agreed the deserts were heavenly.

Nice food, good atmosphere, a bit expensive and could improve on menu. (also no children's menu...

The staff were really friendly and helpful. I booked in advance and asked for a specific table, it was no problem. Our waitress Nikki explained the specials, helped me choose the right wine, even offering a sample and answered all my menu questions concerning portion size etc . We had delicious queenie scallops, big prawns and sirlion steak, all perfectly cooked, with lovely chips and realy tasty mix of fresh vegetables followed by amoretto cheese cake and baked alaska...it was lovely. There was a very good ambience, even though it was a quiet night, the decor is realy fresh and intimate in an informal manner. We loved it and will return. I believe our excellent chef was called Tyler.
