One of the best pubs on the island of you like them old school. Back area has now been done up smartly with a TV and smoking area

Lovely pub with fantastic staff and a wonderful atmosphere. This was my first visit, and I will definitely return!

Don't be fooled by the exterior of the excellent Heron Brearley Pub. This hidden gem features four distinct rooms across different floors, along with three bar areas. They typically offer a selection of five well-maintained real ales, in addition to the options from the Okells brewery. While the pub might not be the easiest to locate, it's just under half a mile from the Douglas Promenade. The current landlord is an enthusiastic aficionado of malt whisky, adding to the pub's charm.

Fantastic pub! I visited during TT week and found it to be quite laid-back compared to some other spots.
