Wasabi - Douglasville

I really enjoyed eating at this place over the last couple months (usually takeout)The menu gives a lot of options and is moderately priced. Unfortunately this last time it literally curbed my appetite how unsanitary the condition of the dining room was.Filthy air conditioning vents and ceiling tiles throughout. The booth chairs are ripped /uncomfortable and distracting. Clearly this establishment makes enough money to make the repairs and take the time to deep clean. Not fair to us patrons. I cringe to think of the condition in areas we don’t see in the back.

If I could give 0 starts I would. Like I told the staff I have been customer for YEARS!!! not only have I been coming here for years I travel a distance just to get to this location. our portions was half the size that we normally get. It was more like a child’s meal portion. When I address the issue to the manager, I told her im a longevity customer she replied, “so I’m I” not understanding why she responded with such comment. I never felt unprofessionalism from this establishment until today. It really put a nasty taste in my mouth at this points well will never return! Not for parties either. I rented party section out several time never again.

The salmon was extra fishy and salty. The rice was VERY undercooked. The chef portioned the food horribly, by time he got to my party we basically got the scraps. The noodles had little to no teriyaki sauce. 2/10 customer service. When it came to the mixed vegetables, I had no zucchini. When I addressed the situation with my waiter, he tried to argue with me and told the manager that I was hiding my zucchini under my broccoli. He never came back and gave us to-go plates and he didn’t split our tickets. Would not recommend. Don’t waste your money.

The presentation was excellent. The food was very tasty. The restroom had a fowl smell.

No matter where I go for sushi I always come back to Wasabi. Their sushi is my favorite and no where else can you find dumpling soup! The restaurant is a bit dingy and needs updating but the sushi tables to the side are quiet and the service is always wonderful.
