Very trendy pizza restaurant. Went on a Wednesday for the 1/2 off wine special. Ended up getting 2 to 3 bottles. The mushroom pizza was very tasty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’d like to share a very unfortunate interaction with the manager of Gia Mia restaurant that occurred this week. As very dear friends of mine and residents of the Downers Grove community searched high and low through the town for their dog who was lost, they had a very distasteful interaction with the manager of this restaurant. This manager refused to allow them to put a sign up in their window to help bring home their lost dog and was also incredibly rude to them. A simple sign. This was the only business in the community that refused to help. It is incredibly disheartening. DG is a very supportive community and unfortunately this establishment did not chose to help others nor demonstrate that. My close friends and I really loved this restaurant previously. We have been there plenty of times and always looked forward to coming back, until now. We will no longer be supporting this business and I hope in the future, empathy can be provided to others who are very clearly in need of your help. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm sorry, but I don't remember our server name, she was a young girl and very knowledge about all menu items. She was patient with us, as she could say we were getting up. Our whole food was excellent! I can't wait to bring my husband back.

The service was excellent, the noise level is very high, hard to hear. The food was fresh and very good. Enjoy pasta, pizza and appetizers. Stand out food was the mushroom pasta and fig cheese prosciutto appetizer. Would go back to try other items in the menu. Waitress was excellent and very nice. It didn't feel rushed and dinner.
