La Barca Restaurantes - Downey

I decided to try this restaurant after reading some reviews. It's located on a busy street, so traffic can be unpredictable, but there's ample parking available in the back. The service was friendly and efficient, and I appreciated the generous spacing between tables. The interior has high ceilings, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. The freshly made tortillas were excellent, and my food arrived exactly as I ordered it, with generous portion sizes. Overall, it's a solid spot for a meal.

My family loves this restaurant. To me, it’s home-style cooking. The food is delicious, made with wholesome ingredients, and the portions are generous for those of us who like big plates of food.

Plenty of parking, clean, roomy and not to loud. Staff is friendly and food comes out timely. The servings are large and food taste good but a bit on the spicy side. It’s the best Barca in downey, food and location hands down.

Don’t let the outside deceive you! It looks like an industrial building on the outside but inside is beautiful.Clean and spacious. The food was very delicious. Bad thing is they don’t accept Amex.

We enjoyed a fantastic brunch and had machaca con huevo, which was both spicy and delicious!
