Piccolo Trattoria- Doylestown

Our family arrived Monday for a mini getaway from Rehoboth Beach, DelawareThe get-a-way was for our daughters 4th Birthday.

Came here on Friday night with the boyfriend.no problems getting seated..

We live around the corner from Piccolo's and order dinner takeout for a family of 5 at least once a week. Overall the food has been consistently above

This could be a gem of a place but the night we dined, they were short on waitstaff , the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed overdone. Unfortunately, it was too cold, otherwise, this looks like the perfect place for sitting outside on the patio with a view of the river, open air and energetic city vibes.

Food was not hot, luke warm at best. Server couldn't answer simple questions about the menu or the fireworks cruise after dinner. Very disappointed with the whole meal. Fireworks we're awesome!
