L'Osteria - Dresden

Visited Dresden for a day of Prague. We found this restaurant last minute as we were very hungry before we returned the bus to Prague. The place outside doesn't say much. But inside is very beautiful. This night was fully booked and we sat on the last available table for 6. The young girl who served us was very polite and helpful. Our order came quickly after we told her we had very little time. We had 2 pizzas that were excellent. Everything looked fantastic. If we had time, we would try other things from the menu. If we ever come back to Dresden, we definitely come here.

A reservation online, so easy. The pizzas are huge and crispy, the atmosphere is great especially on weekends, they even gave me a doggy bag for the two slices I couldn't finish. Pricewise I was pleasantly surprised, very good. Local Radeberger beer also, very good.

We have been there with some friends on Saturday. The place was really busy and most guest had to cue for a table. The service was OK. The interior was interesting but it was missing a certain atmosphere. You felt like that the staff was...interested in get you fed and out of the door quickly. The food arrived in a reasonable time but it was nofhing special throughout our group. There are much better places if you feel like eating Italian.

This was the first time we had been to Losteria. The pizza was perfectly cooked and the service was quite amicable and fast as well. The place seemed to be crowded. We liked the taste of the pizza and when we went to Prague and...Vienna we realized it was a chain and ended up going to losteria over there as well! I would definitely recommend it.

We came for an evening meal here whilst in Dresden. The place was packed! There was a huge concert in town (which we were also headed to! and we hadn’t reserved a table. There was a long wait to be served our food and drinks,...but what came was delicious. I had the lasagne, it was tasty but a very small portion.
