Bidra med feedbackThis couple has been a staple in Dripping Springs since my first visit. It’s where my late friend used to take me for their lunch buffet. A decade later, it remains exactly the same. I think the area's growth has slowed them down a bit, but they’re still going strong. They are the nicest people you could meet, incredibly hardworking, and the pizza is always delicious. It reminds me of the old Gatti's buffet, but these pizzas are made with love. I recommend visiting for a slice, if only for nostalgia. And if you’re in the mood for a good salad, you've definitely come to the right place!
Last Saturday, I called to inquire about the buffet and was told it was available all day. However, I didn't arrive until 2 PM, and my boyfriend and I were the only customers there. I noticed some old pizza sitting in the warmer, so I asked if they could make us a small fresh pizza. The woman assured me that more pizza was on the way, but instead, she just warmed up the old pizza and served us cheese sticks. After eating our salad, we were ready to leave, and my boyfriend finally expressed that we wouldn't be returning. We didn’t drive all the way there just to have reheated pizza. Eventually, they made us a small pepperoni pizza, which was actually quite good. While I understand the desire to minimize food waste, serving reheated food that’s been sitting out is unacceptable. When we left, the old pizza was still there. Additionally, we were given Styrofoam plates, cups, and plastic forks, with no straws, parmesan cheese, or salt and pepper shakers provided. I can't support a restaurant that lacks consideration for the environment.
DO NOT ORDER THE BUFFET! There were no pizzas on the buffet. I had initially written a negative review but deleted it. However, after seeing many similar complaints, I've decided to inform others about what the owners already know. I really don't understand how there are so many 5-star ratings. I should've trusted my instincts when my friends and I walked in and saw only one pie available on the counter. The staff were nice, but I was hungry and I only got a few slices for my money.
The best pizza I?ve ever had! Granted, I am born and raised in Dripping Springs and have grown up on Grand Slam Pizza but as adult I continue to go back because it is the best pizza in town. The owners are incredibly kind and hard working. I love themand I love their pizza!
The buffet didn?t have a lot of food on it. Barely any variety. Great price but really getting what you pay for. Pizza quality on buffet below average. Salad bar was good. I?m likely to give it another shot ordering off the menu. Seem like very nicepeople running the place.
