The Sated Sheep Yarn Store In Austin

I couldn't recommend The Sated Sheep more. They have a lovely collection of fibers, and when the yarn I ordered came and wasn’t quite right for the project I was working on, Allison was truly amazing to work with and helped me exchange for a different color. Honestly, I live in Manhattan, and it was easier receiving and exchanging yarn from Texas than running around my own city. The shipping was quick and I’m obsessed with the skeins I received. I understand that all knitting and yarn shops are lovely to explore, but The Sated Sheep stands out. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The selection of yarn is stunning, and the owner is incredibly gracious—more like a host, really! Thank you for a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be returning.

I'm currently on vacation in the hill country, and The Sated Sheep was one of the first places I visited. I was not disappointed at all. As a beginner in knitting, I found the staff to be incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions and even assisting me in selecting yarn for my project. They offer a wonderful selection of beautiful and unique yarns. I also enjoyed her lunch recommendation, which was fantastic. I will definitely make a point to visit this place on all my future vacations.
