Parkers Steakhouse - Drysdale

We come here to eat their steaks, which are cooked on point every time Delicious! Can't see why they need to charge extra for the sauce, just bugs me a little. The decor lets this place down big time, a little dated. Service is excellent.

For a 240 buck meal expected a bit more.... pork belly starter waaay too expensive. Steak was nice and wine list was above average. Still found myself reaching for gravy and a 70 dollar steak should not need that.. veg was lackluster and left a little disappointed. My hunt for a great victorian steak continues.

You know it's a good steak place by the smell as you walk in the door. Steak were cooked to perfection and big portion size. Service was good, my only criticism was the decor was a bit dated.

Overall pretty good. The selection of grills is excellent and the serving sizes generous. The wine list is excellent with some stunning wines available by the glass. Ask for the unlisted Durif if you like a bold red. I had the Pork Ribs which were succulent and nicely cooked, but a little on the cool side. (I suspect they had been sitting in the servery for a while) My wifes Salmon was cooked to perfection. On the minor downside, the Baked Potatoes were not really baked as they had steamed themselves in foil, and our food took about an hour to come to the table. (That didn't matter too much to us as we were happy to chat). This place is worthy of a visit, and overall we enjoyed it.

YUM! Parkers is my favourite place in Geelong to get a steak! Its a pity they are always booked out! I always ring to make a reservation only to be told they are booked out! :
