Bison - Dublin

This place is awesome and has the friendliest staff, great music and the food, I wasn't expecting so much I was defeated by the chicken wings but I will be back

After a long day walking around Dublin, BBQ was the dinner of choice. Bison Bar came up on the suggested restaurants. The experience lived up to expectations. We booked ahead as it was Saturday evening. Although busy, we were not rushed. The food was excellent. Would recommend the brisket! The staff were helpful and engaging.

Quite simply the best burger I've ever eaten! Staff are efficient, friendly and happy. Highly recommended.

Had booked this place on 25th February for a party of 12 people on a trip to Dublin on 10th June2023. Only to receive a call on the 21st May with less than 3 weeks to go that they were cancelling the booking as they had a barbecue event on. Very poor.

Food was disappointing. Place was empty at lunchtime which says a lot considering its a city centre location. The place overall lacks atmosphere very dark and dim. I ordered regular chips/fries they were coated in 5 spice for some reason still ok but unnecessary ,my friend ordered chips too and his were same very basic thing to serve decent chips id recommed you change this or say on menu that they are coated. The food has more of an Asian undertone than bbq flavour, the only thing bbq was the sauces which you'd get in any shop id recommend a homemade sauce selection it would give the place an edge over others. Five spice and cumin coated most things. House white not great . Delicious wings ,great portion and a decent pint available. Alberto the server was superb, up sold the menu, very welcoming and attentive. He's a real asset to the place.
