Square One - Dublin

A friend treated me to a birthday brunch on a Monday, and we specifically asked ahead of time for an outdoor table due to my friend's poor health. Unfortunately, when we got there, there were no outdoor tables available. Despite our request, a staff member refused to accommodate us and was rude and aggressive in their manner. The restaurant was not busy, with only two other customers present, so there was no reason for such treatment. Overall, it was a negative and unpleasant experience, and I will not be returning. It seems that customers are seen as a burden at this restaurant.

We had a wonderful brunch at Square One! It's conveniently located with plenty of free parking, and the atmosphere is bright and airy. They are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of their customers during the pandemic. The food was excellent, especially the home fries. I appreciated the variety of brunch options beyond just avocado and eggs. We will definitely return, and we also like that they use the Squid Rewards app for their loyalty program. Just 5 more stamps until my free coffee!

Huge portions for most brunch options our trio had difficulty finishing it all... it was all yummy . This is grub for young gym guys gals as you’d have to work out for several hours to shake off the calories

Food took a bit longer than expected but only to receive some of the best food i’ve had in a while. great food, everything home made, fresh chips and avocado, food was flawless, very good value. This place needs more attention. Nice coffee, lovely cafe, friendly staff!

This is for the attention of management: staff were friendly but the service very slow, 15 mins for coffee water and 45 mins for food, it’s along time to wait for a simple brunch dish. So maybe just understaffed or undertrained.
