Beautiful setting, very attentive staff, lovely food, good value for money!

It seems that manager who handles reservations does not have the full list of online bookings done via OpenTable printed out with him ? . I had to beg for a table on a NYE 31.12 because manager claimed he didn 't have my online booking for 1 person on his list. He found for me a free spot within 20 minutes but I felt uncomfortable on that evening like unsolicited guest and I had to be really assertive to save my stay on that evening. I understand there could be delays affecting my reservation but the worst is to tell the customer Sorry, I don 't have your reservation because it sounds like you 're overwhelmed or disorganized. The premium steak was good as always but too lukewarm as for my taste not very warm . Cocktails were nice refreshing. I 'd recommend revision/upgrade of the menu with some good foods that are not widely available in Swords or even in Dublin. Your menu all sections including desserts is very predictable and boring, most items on the menu can be found in 90% of Dublin 's restaurants. In France or Italy, restaurants try to create their own dishes that are unique to their place and not so common so that guests would want to come back only for those dishes. I still like The Betsy but I feel you are not utilizing your culinary potential trying to please average mainstream tastes too much while completely overlooking more sophisticated ones.

Myself and my family went for dinner on NYE. We all agreed that we couldn't have had a nicer time. Food was fab and service even better. A special shout out to Rocky. He was great. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. Throughly enjoyed ourselves. Best night in a long time. Cant wait to come again!

The food was fantastic, and drinks equally as good. Will definitely book again soon.
