Mr Fox - Dublin City

Only North of The River Liffey on an inconceivable road is Mr. Fox, look for the blue door! After shopping, the actual restaurant childa is located in the basement of the building. You make a pre-fix menu for 78 euros and they do it very well! Many locals here if you know what I mean, you want to wear something beautiful, they said. The wine program is amazing like the house cocktails.. some of the best drinks I had. The menu consisted of 11 different courses that focused on regional elements in the season! Everything was super boiled perfect, but linings contain a Lamb Rump boiled MR with smoked yogurt sauce and a Monkfish with Cockles a SEP puree. The desserts were also great with a blackberry yuzu and a chocolate hazelnut brownie concoction! Service was perfect, every dish is explained in detail. Mr. Fox is the best culinary experience I've had so far. Each course was a new experience of tasting taste profiles that I had never tried before. The sommelier for the wine pairing was knowledgeable and funny to speak. My friends brought a fox filled animal, and the staff thought it was funny and let us put it on the wall (see picture). The ambience was also great as the restaurant is hidden under the street level, so it feels like a secret that only you know. Unreal experience, I hope I can visit Dublin someday just to go to Mr Fox! And I hope they get their Michelin star, they deserve it.

WOW. That was an incredible experience. I was in town for business and it was my manager's birthday. We could secure a table and it was a fantastic celebration. Everything was impeccable. Service, food, atmosphere. I was ready to lick everything from the plates. It is a tasting menu and everything that is offered is impeccable. We had 8PM reservations and we were the last group to roll out at 11:30 (No, we were not under pressure to go, we realized that nobody else was around = P) Thank you for a wonderful meal and unforgettable time in your beautiful decor. I'll be back when I'm in town!

Hands down one of the best meals we had in Dublin this year!! Couldn't be higher from food to service and wine pairing!! They were also happy to tweak a course to fulfill a personal preference that was not expected at all, but the cherry was up for an already wonderful evening!
