Bidra med feedbackMy favorite place! All staff members are super nice and my son is not only having fun but also making tons of friends!
Took my grand kids to his friend's party there a couple of months ago. The facility is super clean, we payed out and well organized for such events. The kids loved the racing and did not want to go home. They also have a video machine arcade as well as a room to have a party in.
Waiting for the manager to change my mind. I called before our visit to confirm my daughter and son could go cart. My whole family newborn included drove 45 minutes for the experience, and boy was it one!! We were immediately told we weren 't able to race because it was only reserved for parties 8 and more and they didn 't take walk ins. I asked to speak to the manager explains the situation and she brushed us off and said it 's beyond her control and nothing she could do. The manager explained that yeah sometimes they tell people that when they shouldn 't. Ok so let 's work with a bad situation and play some games.... Nope. Half the games weren 't working and then it took 20 minutes for them to get a puck for the air hockey. Bright side of this whole place? Parking!!! Tons of it because apparently everyone is smart to not come here.
This place isn 't worth your time. Small track no elevation and staff are generally not very helpful. We 've been here almost 10 weekends to do races, so I feel that I can give a fair and honest review. Today was the 2nd time we arrived at opening only to be told all of the kart races are booked for birthday parties. So all of the youth karts were booked all day as soon as the doors opened. This has happened before and I asked can they do something about this online, we live in an information society and it wouldn 't be hard to announce so people don 't spend 1.5 hours to and from gas and have a disappointed kid that was looking forward to it. It 's ok to be booked up, it 's not ok to not inform your regular customers, which was us that there 's no availability. Figure it out, message board, social media something. The owner and GM are asleep at the wheel on this. The staff were also very unhelpful, I got the message that a 1990s helpline response of, I understand and there 's nothing we can do . You could offer a free race for the inconvenience, maybe a buy one get one. I went out of my way to ask if there 's anything they could do, squeeze a race in, we 'll wait a few hours even if need be. Nope! It was very clear they did not care nor want my business. We 'll having spent over $500 as a family, consider that lost revenue. We have a few more points to spend on the card and then we 're done and I 'm ensuring anyone that asks about this place knows about this about this experience and how to avoid ever coming here. We decided to make the trip to k1 speed in Fairfield and it 's so much better. It 's also a different franchise so no annual membership like the Dublin one, which I was surprised about. It has elevation as well and the staff seemed much better. Track staff were more engaged and had monitors to watch the upper deck in the event of a crash. Also wait time was only 25 mins.
Went here for a meetup w my friends, and was a phenomenal time. The wait times vary depending on the day, and I think google maps has a chart for times when K1 is the most busy. Go earlier in the day, since it gets more congested during the evening and after lunch, where the wait time was over 2 hours. During these two hours, K1 includes a small arcade to fill your mind as you wait. There are racing, shooters, air hockey, skeeball, basketball, and one of those punch machines. They also have a magnificent display with Tony Kanaan's 2011 IndyCar, which was magnificent eye candy, and also had a good selection of gear for racing, such as gloves. Gloves are recommended, which are 24.99. Gloves give you an overall better experience since if you are driving in the adult carts, you might get sore or have blisters from racing (personal experience). Overall, this is one of the best places I've gone for go-karting, and I loved the experience there. Reviews saying that the queue time is bad are true depending on the day, as I said earlier. K1 also offers drinks, food, and other utilities. Race Options and Pricing (per person):1 Race: 27.952 Races: 49.953 Races: 64.95(Annual membership just to race is $8, be wary.)These prices are for Arrive and Drive, while there are other options, like reservations for a group. You can check these out on their website. Also, the annual membership also comes with a free birthday race, which is also a nice thing to have.
