Dubois Country Club

This is the worst golf course I've encountered this side of the Mississippi. Every hole has its issues, from large potholes to damaged greens. The professional staff member is rarely present, often late for lessons, and has a negative attitude. I definitely do not recommend golfing here. Save your money and go to Beechwood's instead.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Tannery this week. The entrance is beautiful, and the bar has a unique design with plenty of space. There are lots of seating options, creating a very comfortable atmosphere, and even when live entertainment is happening, there’s enough room to avoid feeling crowded. The food was outstanding—I had a crab cake sandwich that was incredibly tasty. It was so fresh that it felt like I was dining in Maine! Someone at our table opted for the all-you-can-eat spaghetti priced at just $5.99, and they said it was excellent. Another guest tried the cheese steak hoagie for $9.99, which was also large and delicious. Our drinks were fairly priced, the service was attentive, and our meals arrived hot. We will certainly be back soon!

The ambiance was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The bar is truly one of the most remarkable I've ever seen, offering a range of specials every night that provide a delightful selection. I strongly recommend visiting if you're in the area, especially since there's a great hotel located right next door.

There is also a significant issue with parking. Once again, no parking is available, which means you'll have to walk quite a distance just to eat or play. The golf course itself needs improvement; the cart paths are in bad shape, and some areas might actually be better suited for dirt or gravel instead. It's a very hilly course as well. As for the food, while I don't mind paying more for a good meal, it's not worth it when the quality fails to meet expectations. The drinks are overpriced too, especially when bottles are cheaper than draft options. Do they think we're not aware of that? Given all these issues, I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places to play, eat, and stay. I went in hoping for a great experience, but it turned out to be a significant disappointment.
