Pickle-barrell Subs - Dubuque

The only reason I give this facility my business is Ashley Green. The food is pretty good, but the prices are exaggerated.

Service was slow. Staff member making the sandwiches was apathetic and skipped over areas of ingredients, so she ended up wrapping the sandwich before we were even done asking for veggies on our order. Got no Mayo or Ranch despite asking for them. Sandwiches were ok but haphazardly thrown together, and loosely wrapped, so when we opened them, the contents were more or less spilling out the side. Sandwiches were good considering. I feel it would have been better if made by a staff that actually cared or at least was paying attention.

Very thin bread for subs. Waitress was so slow I thought I was going to get my sandwich for breakfast instead of supper. She was so slow customers were leaving after 20 min. Only 1 person working.

It's better than subway as far as freshness but nothing exceptional or unique, for that matter. Both employees were rude and not helpful nor patient.

Stopped here on a road trip to Wisconsin with our kids. If you like to be yelled at, this is the place. The lady working was flustered that there were 5 of us and barked at my daughter that there were no restrooms and was just overall crabby. Food was just ok. I would never go back.
