Bidra med feedbackFood was okay but nothing spectacular. The real issue is the penny-pinching. £16.90 (take away) for salt and pepper king prawns. We got FOUR, and the coating was on top of the shells, so by the time you’ve taken the shells off the prawns there is nothing left. Total waste of money. Never again.
So disappointing- eaten here a year or two ago which was lovely. Unfortunately. Thai beef salad tonight was truly awful, sloppy mess. We were so hungry after waiting an hour for a starter that we ate it anyway and then were told that as we’d eaten it, nothing could be done £15 for an absolutely awful starter. Shocking!! Main meal was such poor quality we passed it back straight away and left, went home to order a Chinese takeaway when back.
Been going here for about ten years, different owners . Last three or four times that we’ve arrived we have been directed to a table for two behind a pillar , probably the worst table in the house, despite it being early evening and the restaurant being empty. Again, tonight, we requested to be moved and we were directed to a substandard table and so had to complain again to be moved again . I was told it would be busy at weekends, I fully appreciate this, but not at 6-7pm midweek when the place is nearly empty . Surely , some sense?Is it poor staff or poor management? Disappointed as really like the place and the food . Neil sorry for the grammar and spelling) PS during meal staff member sprayed adjoining table with what I presume was a sanitizer and covered us and food, I paid the bill and left, without a tip and paid £80+ Very disappointed
This was my first time at Salathip and I was competing blown away by the beautiful food and the amazing service from Tik. Her customer service was excellent. We can’t wait to come back, thank you so much! Ps the Thai Green Curry is the best!!!
Fantastic food, fantastic service .Food was exceptional we've been looking for a good Thai restaurant closer to home and this didn't disappoint and the young lady who served us was a credit to the restaurant
