Steigenberger - Düsseldorf

We had a nice time on the terrace, very nice and attentive service. we have a delicious oyster plate and champagne divided. it was a joy, certainly not the cheapest place in the city, but it is worth visiting!

On the 28th juni I invited four customers, two thais and two koreanes to the informal lunch in the Steigberger eck. that was a surprising catastrophe. it took age to get a table (the place was half empty, midday) eating was mediocre to say...the least. the mezze (an Arab court) had ham inside! the koreaner and a thai who decided to take the rice appetizer (power bowl), could not finish their plate, the club sandwich was of the type that you find in a highway restaurant the white wine was quite normal (but the price,) it was served first at room temperature and the waiter had no idea how to treat the bottle cool (in a hurry with ice cream and water as the keener we always wanted) I didn't complain because it would have made her even more unpleasant. the register card was 305 eur for five people. this is not the problem, even if there is a far better place in düsseldorf for such a price point. the problem is so deep mediocrity in what should be a beautiful place. avoid

Nice place for a drink, but check out the price list as it can be expensive, service is good, ambiente is beautiful.

I really wanted to love this place. it is such a beautiful location and both the interior and exterior seats are stylish and chic. this is simply the most elegant location in the Steigberger hotel. unfortunately the service here really has the dynamics of the. platzes ruined it seems that there are many regulars here that are warmly welcomed by the employees. I'm sorry if you're not one of those folks. the observant could not be harassed to give back our greeting, let alone help us find a table. his employment was at best negative. looking for a table it was difficult to get someone to take our order. the coffee was good, but the service was so bad, there was no sense to order cake. Unfortunately this was a less than pleasant introduction to eating in düsseldorf.

The service was very good and friendly. Made some good recommendations. But I have to say, we had the Schnitzel for dinner and it was probably the best Schnitzel including the side dishes that I have ever had! Thank you for this experience!
