Empress Wok Chinese Restaurant - Dundas

Several patrons were lined up to pick up their orders. Only one fellow was on the desk. Several orders were not yet ready even though the website had indicated the food was ready for pickup. The fellow on the desk took phone orders instead of dealing with his long lineup. Finally an unmasked privileged young man walked in the door, sidestepped the line and got served! A better way to handle this would be to put two people on the desk. Failing that let the phone go to a message directing patrons to order online. The unmasked fellow should have been asked to leave!

Went to the University Plaza today and found this restaurant after getting my stuff.

I came in because I saw the 6.25 lunch specialI had the general tao chicken with chicken fried rice and an egg roll.

Went in for the lunch special, food was ok, general tsao's chicken was way to battery, ordered the extra spicy version and it was still pretty sweet,

Had lunch with friends at the Empress Wok. Their luncheon special is very reasonably priced and there are about 10 choices. I had the General Psao Chicken which came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll(for $6.95). I really enjoyed all of it. Their coffee was actually quite good as well(hard to find good coffee at restaurants these days). My friends enjoyed their meals as well-the loved the mixed vegetables(quite a few compared to my 2 standard pieces of nice broccoli ). The server was fast and efficient. I do recommend this place.
