Tandooree Garden - Dunedin

For eight years, we've been dining at Nandan Indian Restaurant after our Indian friend recommended it as the best she had tried in New Zealand. The atmosphere at Nandan is lovely, and the staff remembers our names and regular orders, even if a few months have passed since our last visit! We even ordered extra food and froze it for later during the lockdowns.

One of the best curry spots in town! The service is friendly, and the food is consistently excellent!

Tandoore Garden is a family favorite in our household. The first time we had their butter chicken, we enjoyed it almost every day for a week, and it was consistently amazing! It's simply delicious comfort food with generous portion sizes for the price.

My favourite Indian restaurant in Dunedin. Curries are consistently delicious and full of flavour, medium butter chicken is always a winner and my go to. Good variety amongst the different dishes too and the spice levels are perfect. The owner is a very friendly guy and always serving with a smile.
