Dunster Water Mill

The beautiful castle offers stunning views of the surrounding area. There is a great selection of rooms to explore, and the gardens are lovely for a stroll. The water mill was particularly intriguing. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, although there are some steep paths and steps to navigate. We spent about four hours there.

The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful gardens, thoughtfully landscaped on a steep hill near the castle. The castle itself is worth a visit, especially for its impressive, modern-style kitchen and leather-clad rooms, which are definite highlights. The village nearby is also charming. Keep in mind that the walk from the parking lot to the castle is quite steep, but there is a complimentary electric van available for those with mobility issues, equipped with a wheelchair lift.

What a beautiful experience! We had never visited Dark before, and we absolutely loved it. It was a lovely day filled with so much to see and explore, and the ambiance was stunning. Although it's not located in the city, as trusted national members, we can use our cards to return and enjoy the interior. I highly recommend paying a visit!

Had a great trip to dunster burg. Although the parking was somewhat busy, it was not too busy before location. As a national trust member it was free, would recommend everyone to join. very helpful guide to the reception that gave us the best route for mobility impairments. also in the new caffe in the mill, good eating. very recommend a visit.

Absolutely loved this place. It's beautiful, and the gardens are gorgeous. Love the fact that people live within the walls of the castle. You might struggle if you're not fully able, as the access into the castle at one point is really steep.
