The Olde House Dunster B&b And Tea Shop

I booked three rooms for two nights, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. They also did a great job accommodating my coeliac daughter with plenty of gluten-free options. I would definitely return if I'm ever in Dunster. Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The 16thC Listed building has its quirks which made for some interesting maneuvering for the tallest of us but the rooms were spotless, abundantly supplied and overlook the High Street and opposite Reeves (see separate review). Amazing sleeps, comfortable beds and spacious enough despite being on the uppermost floor. Breakfast was the best, The Dunster Full English was perfectly proportioned and perfectly cooked, setting us up for each day. My daughter had a stack of pancakes with chocolate sauce as opposed to syrup and couldn't stop smiling the entire time. A choice of cereals, toast, crumpets, juices, granolas and an array of coffees and teas mean that your day really gets off to the best start. Both Tessa and George are wonderful hosts going above and beyond to accommodate their guests and I would absolutely stay there again. Our thanks to them and the rest of the staff who work so hard. I didn't stay at the B&B, so I can't comment on the rooms, but I can share my experience at the café. The building is quite old, featuring charming exposed beams. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would rate the service as 4 stars and the location as 5 stars.

A fantastic cafe/B&B situated in the center of Dunster. George and his team made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, offering lovely views of Dunster's high street. It's an ideal spot for a getaway in Dunster. The cafe features a wonderful menu available all day, with a diverse selection that caters to everyone. Every meal we had was delicious. We will definitely return! Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.
