Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is truly lovely! It's a fantastic spot to dine, but I do have one complaint: my gluten-free sandwich came with a bun that was overcooked. My husband, who ordered the regular version, enjoyed a nice fluffy bun. However, they did offer a delicious vegetarian squash burger, and the fries were definitely the highlight of the meal—they were clearly homemade! Additionally, there were two adorable goats that you could pet, and they were such sweethearts. It was evident that all the animals were well cared for!
We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant, which features locally sourced ingredients and homemade cheese. Right next to the grill, there's a market selling fresh vegetables and unique finds. While it can be a bit pricey, the experience is definitely one of a kind. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We shared the Blue Cheese Bacon Barbecue burger, and the flavors were spot on, though the burger is probably best suited for one person instead of two. The fingerling potatoes were perfectly cooked, and we savored every last bite. The apple coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, adding a nice touch to our meal. They serve some dishes in charming white tin containers accented with red, which adds to the aesthetic. The views are beautiful, and you’ll be glad you decided to come here.
I can?t say enough good things about this place. It?s not just about the outstanding food (hands down the absolute best burgers), James Ranch offers one of the very best experiences in Durango! It?s where we bring all of our friends and family! Thestaff are amazing, views overlooking the Animas River Valley are breathtaking, and they have friendly goats, music and funevents for the entire family! I also love their market with fresh, local goods, treats!
Tried the veggie burger and it was amazing! Had no clue it was made solely of squash ???? the view was nice everyone was very friendly. My family also enjoyed the food and they cook the food with organic products and homemade cheese. Loved the scenery aswell. Was a little pricey but tasty
We learned about this place from a few YouTube channels, so we decided to check it out. It certainly lived up to our expectations! We ordered the BBQ Bacon Blue Cheese burger and the Mushroom burger, accompanied by fingerling fries, and they were both delicious. You can enjoy your meal on the deck while watching the clouds drift by or explore the working farm located on the property. This restaurant truly offers a farm-to-table experience, and I highly recommend it!
