Maan Hing Chinese Takeaway - Durban

This place has consistently good quality food and service. I can especially recommend the battered pork medallions. Unfortunately they lost their sit down restaurant after COVID which I really miss. The atmosphere was very quaint and charming and the sit down service was exceptional.

Best Chinese takeaway . Have been going to Maan Hing since I was a little girl. It was a family tradition to celebrate our birthdays at Maan Hing until they closed the rmsit down option last year. But all is well as their food has not changed. Delicious food at reasonable rates. Service and friendliness is the same.

I'm a new customer. Found Maan Hing accidentally after I placed a Mr. D order with another Chinese Restaurant and they didn't pick up my order and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely love your food. I cannot count the times I have dined or ordered takeout from maan hing. Always consistent with good Chinese fusion flavours. My all time favorite dish is the chili peanut chicken with noodles, not rice. I have ordered this countless times and it is always consistently good. From what I know it’s been run by the same owners all along and they do it well. Their spring rolls and sweet and sour prawn and also the sweet and sour pork is really good too.
