Italian Pizzeria - Durham

Love me some Italian Pizzaria!!! It's the only one in NC that even comes close to my beloved NY pizza! The dough is not heavy and clumpy, rather it has the perfect mixture of fluff, and crispness and a little sweet...absolute perfection. The toppingsare always fresh, and all of the other menu items are fabulous. Love the fried zucchini! The serving sizes are also plentiful,you definitely don't go home hungry!

I placed my order by phone and went to pick the food up. The person that answered the phone was polite and repeated the order back to me correctly. I waited 10 minutes and went to the restaurant. The establishment was clean. A young lady greeted me andasked me what I ordered. The food was ready when I got there. The order was accurate. The food was still warm when I got homeand very delicious. I had a chicken roll and my fiancé had a steak and cheese sub. We both had fries. Yummy!!

I ordered a pizza and cheesecake. The huge slices of cheesecake were in a glass display and already prepackaged in clear, plastic containersThey were large enough for my husband and I to share- or so I thought. When I came back to pick up my cheesecake and pizza, the cheesecake was in a plastic bag so I couldn't see inside. It turns out, the Cheesecake I received was half the size of what I ordered. We can see where it was sliced before half was removed. I would not have ordered it if I was informed that it would have been sliced in half. In addition, it doesn't it even taste good. I was robbed, and I will not be coming back.

We ordered lunch today using Uber eats. My son in the original order requested no cheese on his pizza. He has a pizza allergy and cannot eat cheese. So just as insurance he immediately called Italian pizzeria to make sure that they did not put cheese on his pizza. The person answering the phone was unable to communicate cheese or no cheese. We called back to again try and confirm no cheese on the pizza. The person then informed us the pizza was already made in the oven and had cheese on it and there was nothing they could do about it they did not offer any sort of correction or refund and were extremely rude in the process. I will not return to this restaurant again.

Great Italian food. Fast but slow enough to make the food good. I eat here at least 3 times a month or sometimes 1 or 2 more time's. Just got a Philly cheese steak Thursday night and it was delicious. Thanks to all the people who work there.. keep serving your food good and I'll be coming back again and again.
