The Three Horseshoes - Durham

We enjoyed a lovely experience at this restaurant, starting with a warm welcome from Clive, Lindsey, and their family, along with their four boxers who lounged behind the glass terrace doors in the dog-friendly pub. The menu offered something for everyone, and our party of four opted for two steak pies, Clive's curry, and one of the best ribeye steaks we've ever had—massive portions indeed when the meals were served, accompanied by the finest chips, according to my companions. There was also a vast selection of desserts, though we couldn't manage any. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, and we would definitely return soon!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant during my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last! We arrived without a reservation, but fortunately were seated right away. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing and of excellent quality (I forgot to take photos!). I ordered a beef dinner that was incredibly tasty, served on a large square plate with plenty of beef, a Yorkshire pudding, potatoes, and three crispy fried potatoes. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience!

The pub has recently been completed and features a beautiful interior. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We only stopped in for coffee on this occasion, but we will definitely be back. The Sunday lunch menu looked appealing.

Ordered mac and cheese with the side of the chips. If we knew the size of the macandcheese (enorm), we would not have ordered the chips. mac and cheese were delicious and chips were fab. the personal was great and has wrapped our doggy bag for later. ps also dog friendly.

Great food, lovely people, good value, nice atmosphere, excellent levels of service. Couldn't ask for more had a fantastic meal.
