Bidra med feedbackUsed to go here often when we lived in the Wren Area. Tonight was awful. Our bill was $94 for 4 people... appetizer 3 drinks , meals no problem right? Well one person ordered shrimp and grits .. was asked small or large. Small turned out to be a tiny cup with zero shrimp- just flavorless grits. That is all she received. Was asked about salad, she ordered house with golden Italian ... no salad came. (Turned out it didn't come with the grits . The server was brand new, very nice, learning. But my guest for dinner basically had nothing to eat. I ordered grilled oysters (after seeing the guys behind me- his looked great! $19.95 two of the 12 had NO oyster at all. 8 had small bits oyster, 2 were actually oysters. The oysters come with bread. The server who brought the food dropped mine, laughed, then never replaced it. We complained about the grits before the bill came. They charged us $3 for the uneaten cup... Paying more than $100 is nothing for 4 people to eat out. But when 2 leave after having basically no food, it's pretty bad. A manager should have checked on us given the situation. We don't make a fuss or send food back. We just won't return.
I'm so sad to hear this place is closing. It was such a good restaurant with great food. The variety of food here in Easley is not wide but this was one of the unique places. I'm gonna miss it.
Great non-chain restaurant tucked away in Easley. Not a new restaurant, but was new to me when we stopped in on Sunday for lunch. Was very pleased with the Zombie burger. It sports some jalapeño pimento cheese, fried pickles, and red pepper jelly all atop a huge 1/2 pound patty. The patty feels as though it 's been bulked up with something like breadcrumbs though. Otherwise, a great flavor combination. The Jazz wrap is also quite tasty, particularly with the fried shrimp option. They were very plump and cooked well. The gator bites are served with a Cajun ranch that is just the right balance of creamy and spicy. Service was rough on this particular visit, but, since it was Sunday, I assume they were short staffed and the crowd was overwhelming. It seemed to be an all hands on deck effort though. It 's nice to have an option in Easley that is not a chain or a meat and three . The decor is fabulous and exceeded any expectations I had for a New Orleans inspired theme.
Sloooooow beverage service. The menu is definitely limited. Lauren is our waitress was super sweet. Place is okay. My fried mushrooms were fresh, the Voodoo wrap was good.
This place has the coolest decor!!! Love all the art pieces and the colorful paint. There is lots of room with bars and restaurant seating on both floors. We waited about 15 minutes for a seat upstairs where L.C. Branch was playing guitar. He's the reason we tried this place. We started with the French Quarter Fries... the chunk shaped fries and melted queso put a different spin on typical cheese fries but they were deliciously cheesy! For my main I ordered the Blackened Catfish with steamed broccoli... it was a large portion of both. The Catfish was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The broccoli wasn't overly buttered or seasoned .. it was just right. We had great service throughout our entire meal and everyone we encountered was super-nice. They even helped us move closer to the music once the crowd started to dwindle a bit and kept our water full. We plan to return soon for lunch and try out the nearby Doodle Trail.
