Bidra med feedbackAt the Erie County Fair, I had the pleasure of trying some fantastic food. I ordered the Three Little Pigs Sandwich, accompanied by a side of Baked Mac 'n Cheese, which is made with elbow macaroni mixed in a rich four-cheese sauce and then baked with three types of cheese until it’s golden and bubbly, all for $12.99. I also couldn't resist trying a cup of chili priced at $3.49. Two of my friends opted for the Chester Black’nd Cajun Burger, a 10 oz. patty made from 90% lean ground beef, seasoned with Chester's special spices and seared in a cast-iron skillet. The burger comes with a variety of toppings including mayonnaise, Creole mayonnaise, smoky BBQ sauce, red pepper remoulade, Cajun remoulade, dill pickle chips, and one side. The restaurant is also known for its delicious gumbo, jambalaya, steamed and fried crawfish, blackened shrimp po' boy, pulled bourbon chicken sandwich, and crab cake sandwich. Our waiter, Sean, was excellent as well.
This restaurant specializes in New Orleans Cajun cuisine. If you’re a fan of spicy food, you’re going to enjoy it here. For those who prefer milder dishes, the menu includes a spice rating, allowing you to choose wisely. I tried the Bourbon Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious and not too spicy. My husband ordered the Chicken Creole, which was spicier and looked amazing!
This restaurant consistently serves excellent food. I've dined at both Shango and Dick and Jenny on Grand Island, but I always prefer to come here first. It’s a small and casual place, yet the food is outstanding. I'm a big fan of New Orleans-style cuisine!
My wife and I go there once a month. Honestly, food is always great. Service was above average. The menu is mixed so if you don't want, Cajun, you can always pick up a syrup, envelope, wing or sandwich. I gotta go!
Our server was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy we were there. There is a lot of food and it's normal pretty darn good. I'm always happy with my evening when I leave.
