Zephyr Riverside Dining and Kiosk

On one of the few sunny days we had in Fremantle, we had lunch outdoors at the cafe. The fish was excellent - cooked in a light crisp batter. Lovely spot overlooking the Swan river, with lots of boats to-ing and fro-ing. Very pleasant park close by - a great place to take a stroll after lunch.

Went for lunch and we were very impressed with the location, the food and the service...it was our first time but certainly won't be the last we had the pea and ham soup which was delicious and served with crusty bread or garlic bread. my father had fish and chips which he really enjoyedwe were amazed to see that they had Welsh cakes .....first time we've seen them for sale in OZ. we bought 6 and they were delicious, exactly like my Welsh husbands mum used to make....if you go there, which I'd highly recommend, be sure to try the Welsh cakes!

We meet here weekly for coffee and a chat and occasionally a snack. The coffee is good, the location wonderful. Riverside views 5m away. What more could you ask for on a sunny autumn day?

Arrived just before midday which was a good thing as being such a nice day it filled up quickly. It was the first day of a new menu and the selections were enticing. The staff were attentive and helpful which made the visit even more pleasant. The prices on the menu are slightly on the expensive side for a cafe but if you wish to enjoy the setting , relax and partake of good cafe style meals then the Zephyr is a nice place to do it.

We went for brunch with a couple of friends. The kiosk is in a great spot and river view is fantastic. I payed $80 for three simple breakfasts for my kids and myself. The food is ok but nothing espectacular and, in my opinion, it should be better at that price.Yes, I may go back because the spot is wonderful and maybe lunch menu is better. I am not sure but let's try again one day.
