Tavern In The Square East Greenwich

Service and our hostess were great. Drinks were ok except a stout that was ordered was very watery. My wife had the fish and chips at a different location and was very good however two orders that were served tonight were mostly batter. Bang bang broccoli was overly hotter than usual. The General Chicken was kinda dry and even though it was seasoned with the bang bang sauce it still tasted kinda bland. Didn’t have dessert. We have always had a good dining experience here but this was the first time the food was off. Next time I’ll stick with the Steak tips or Bayou pasta and chicken.

Tavern in the Square has become the go-to date night destination for my boyfriend and me. He has gluten intolerance, and the wide variety of gluten-free options on the menu makes it a great dining experience for us both. The food is delish and beautifully prepared, with great portion sizes. The staff is always attentive, and their frequent diner rewards program keeps me coming back with discounts! Tables are far enough apart that you never feel crowded, even when the restaurant is full. It’s easy to hear the conversation at your own table, without feeling like the next table over might be eavesdropping.

We go to both locations weekly being new years the staff was welcoming excellent ! Food was great drinks too! Another great visit!

Always good food and service. We will be back for sure.

The food was Fabulous, the service was Amazing and the Atmosphere was great. Love this place.
