Alberts - East Hertfordshire

My wife and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and have a couple of coffees outside at Alberts since we had half an hour to spare. While placing our order, the waitress suddenly exclaimed, "IT SMILED AT ME," referring to a baby at a nearby table, which seemed random to me. Despite ordering before a table of 3 who received their food and drinks promptly, we waited 15 minutes with no sign of our order. When I mentioned this to another staff member, he apologized and said he would check on it, but it had been 20 minutes since we placed our order so we decided to leave. It was our first and last visit to Alberts.

Alberts is situated on the outskirts of Bishops Stortford, making it a convenient pitstop before heading to Stansted Airport. The restaurant provides a wide selection of dishes, including vegan options, and offers excellent service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it!

The staff here were so welcoming and friendly! They were happy to explain the items on their menu and served our items quickly.

Amazing unexpected little find . Absolutely amazing club sandwich Sated the appetite of 3 hungry travellers . Poached eggs to perfection . Lovely friendly service . Wish we lived closer !

Really tasty food, nice big menu, quick service. Well layed out for social distancing. We will Definitely be returning.
