Amwell Tandoori - East Hertfordshire

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently outstanding. After trying everything on the menu, we have concluded that this is our favorite Indian restaurant. While all the dishes are delicious, I highly recommend trying the Chicken Chom Chom and the Tawa variants.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. All the dishes were well-prepared and not oily or greasy. The Chicken shashlik and Bhuna chicken Jalfrezi were particularly delicious, as were the sag bhaji and nirimish. The service was also very good.

On Saturday, January 27th, I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. We dined at this restaurant where there were only 20 people. The main course took an hour to come out and none of the tables had any food on them. The dishes arrived cold with no steam, the curry tasted like chicken in oxtail soup, the garlic naan was flavorless and terrible, and the Bombay potatoes were like boiled potatoes with a bland sauce. We paid the bill and mentioned our dissatisfaction to the waiter on our way out, but he didn't seem concerned. Lesson learned - we won't be dining here again.

We can honestly say this was the loveliest indian meal we have had and we have had many many! Popadoms were light and crispy, dips were perfect and when i asked for a rogan josh with some spice it came out perfectly! Also, the restaurant is nice and warm and the toilets were spotless. Great service. Ten out of ten!

Pre Christmas catch up with friends and as always Amwell Tandoori didn't disappoint. Great food and service. This is my all time favourite Indian restaurant. Highly recommend.
