Shandon Court - East Islip

I was disappointed by the $3.95 charge for each soda without any notification. However, the service was excellent and the traditional Irish food was phenomenal. The live music is consistently good, there is ample parking, and it is worth the one-hour drive to enjoy. The dinners, drinks, and desserts are all affordable.

The food was excellent and the drinks were even better. I sat in the restaurant section, but I prefer grabbing a table or sitting at the bar when there's music. The service was friendly and the music venue had a great eclectic atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the Irish nights. I can't wait to go back soon.

Omg, warmly welcomed as always, busy bar with a great music performance ! Waitstaff was absolutely PHENOMENAL NOT only are we are restricted related to allergies and our diet restrictions were identified and the wait staff made us feel welcome, and they were pleased to help Friendly, good pace,well priced to other restaurants in the area , convenient parking, close to LIE, Mtk hwy, LIRR, islip airportfor a delicious feast and trivia or music Safe environment if you're a lady dining solo. Food is good, ambiance, music too! Affordable. My group meets here once a month and they are always very accommodating making my events easier and more manageable! Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for Shandon but I was very let down. The filet mignon was soft and lacked flavor, and it was smothered in what seemed like canned gravy. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were half instant. Additionally, the dessert menu didn't offer any cake options. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
