East Village Deli Cafe - East Maitland

With fantastic staff, a fresh theme and great food which caters for all needs, this is the place to go for a quick snack or a beautiful meal. Superb coffee on the run as well. It's on my places to have lunch at least once a week! Last week I even took them up on their take home dinner (I had the quiche).... Marvellous quality and great value!

I was meeting a friend at East Maitland for coffee and we walked out of a coffee shop after 15 min (no service) and spotted the Deli Cafe opposite. What a great decision to walk in the staff friendly and our coffee and sweet treats were consumed in no time. Very clean and this is a cafe to revisit again. Highly recommended.

The deli has had a facelift and I was so excited to see what it was like when it reopened. I am so impressed. On arrival friendly, happy staff greet you and there is a massive display case of beautiful food to choose from, anything from Cannelloni, pumpkin soup, quiche, tarts, salads, sweets and more! They also have a sandwhich bar made to order as well as milkshakes and coffee. I am a big fan of the coffee here, it is strong with good flavour. My loyalty card gets a bit of a work out!I usually grab food to go from here as I am running errands or returning home for lunch, but they have tables to dine in. It is full of light and has a beautiful feel to it. You can also buy products to use in cooking at home or to gift others.

Great sandwiches are few and far between, but these guys absolutely nail it every time. I always try to order by phone or online because they get busy over lunch. Coffee is always spot on too.
