Bidra med feedbackIt was done fast. I enjoyed the gyro and the chicken gyro very much, which I ordered for someone else, was also good. Friendly service and staff who answered all the questions I had. I also ordered a kiwi-strawberry smoothie that was good: there was an article I ordered that never made it into my pocket. I didn't call or went back because I was too tired, so I don't know how it would have been treated if I had done that. I'm going back... I'll make sure to check the bag before I leave this time:
A lot of great vegan options! They had a lot of salad options and even a vegan soup. For their pitas, you have so many vegetable options (not charged for adding all the options) and they have tofu and falafel as meat replacements. They also have smoothies with no yogurt added, only one option has yogurt and you can just tell them to not add it. The food here is DELICIOUS and definitely worth its slightly expensive price. The staff was also super accommodating and understanding. Overall, I'd highly reccomend this restaurant.
I've had Pita Lovers about two dozen times...it is consistantly good and has never let me down. The Burger deluxe is inexpensive and delicious. I've tried gyros from countless Greek places and diners on Long Island and Pita Lovers definitely ranks on the top of my list!!
The falafel sandwich is quite filling on its own, with no need for any extras. The falafel itself was light and crispy, the salad was fresh, and the pita was soft and warm. However, I will definitely ask for extra tahini next time, as there just wasn't enough on the sandwich. The broccoli cheddar soup was a bit thin and lacked creaminess, featuring large chunks of broccoli. It wasn't bad, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. They also offer souvlaki, burgers, and more, and the hummus sounded enticing. While it's not a dedicated souvlaki restaurant, it's a lovely spot to stop by when you're craving a taste of Greece.
The gyro combo plate is fantastic! I highly recommend it to everyone in Ostwiese.
