I went to lunch with my coworkers and was disappointed with the food. One dish was served congealed and cold, but it was quickly replaced. However, as I was eating my meal, I found a sticky label mixed in with the vegetables on my jacket potato. I brought this to the attention of a senior staff member, who apologized and offered to replace the meal or give a refund. This was not up to the usual standard I have come to expect here, and I will hesitate to return for food in the near future.

I ordered a beefburger that was served in just 3 minutes. How can you cook a beefburger so quickly? It was soggy and unappetizing, clearly pre-cooked and reheated in a microwave. The few frozen chips were overcooked and dry. The Stella Artois beer tasted like it had been sitting in the tap lines since the day before. This restaurant deserves only 1 1/2 stars, but I can't rate it lower than 2 stars.

Today my support worker and I had our lunch in this place the food was delicious and tasty. The service was good too, may I take this opportunity to wish all staff all the best for 2022

Had a lovely breakfast, after swimming lessons with my grandchildren and my daughter, glad to be back. The reason I’ve only given a 4, was that I had to ask three times to have our table cleared, after the previous customers. But this will not stop me from going to weatherspoons …

Visited city and County Three times between July 21st and 27th 2021.Very impressed with service and table cleanliness.we use three local spoons and for us is best .The Beverley and Driffield Wetherspoons could learn a great deal from the City and County.well done keep up the good work.Malcolm and Christine May.
