Wow! Passed many times but so glad we called in today. This place is a gem ... Best calzone ever, and the tastiest, freshest pepperoni pizza I've ever had. The coffee was so delicious that we stayed for a second cup. What a genuine guy the owner is, and VJ ... What can I say about him? The MOST gorgeous dog ... Friendly and very well behaved, even when my grumpy boxer had a little growl, VJ just politely retired to his basket. I loved this place and will definitely return. We felt very welcome and our boxer dog was spoilt rotten with lots of tasty morsels. THANK YOU!

Stunning vegan flat pizza roasted veg including baby carrots, beetroot and spiced cauliflower. Highly recommend!

Popped over for the Xmas meal excellent as always. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant especially if you want something totally different.

Having past Gios a couple of times and saying I’d go in, I’m so glad I did . Andy was so welcoming not to mention his beautiful dog. Food was lovely the homemade ice cream was a big plus. Will definitely go back here. keep up the good work Andy VJ

We stopped here for lunch with our son on the way back from York. The owner was very welcoming and gave my son some dough to shape while we were waiting for our food, which was a nice touch. The calzones were nice and filling and not too expensive. The owner's dog was a little intrusive though and at one point he climbed on my son's chair and tried to steal his food out of his hand. Fortunately my son is used to dogs, but I don't feel that the dog should be roaming free if it cannot be relied on to steal food from the customers! To be fair, I don't think the owner saw this happening at the time and we probably should have said something but the cafe was full of customers and we didn't want to make a fuss.
